We invite you to attend the picturesque and tranquil oasis of the PGA National Resort & Spa nestled on a world class property in Palm Beach, Florida on January 16 – 19, 2020.

    Our Father’s Retreat theme is “Stronger Together”! Dads, at the Retreat we plan to create an energizing atmosphere that fosters friendship and bonding among our Fathers. It's your time to get re-energized and grow!

    Greetings Fabulous Fathers of Jack and Jill,

    I am ecstatic about the Inaugural Father’s Retreat that will be held January 16-19, 2019 in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida at the PGA National Resort and Spa. This conference was planned by our dads, for our dads with a focus on their contributions to Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, our children and our communities. It is indeed my honor and pleasure to share this awesome experience with the each of you, as it is for me to serve on the National Executive Board (NEB) of Jack and Jill of America Incorporated as your National Corresponding Secretary and NEB liaison to the Father’s Auxiliary.

    Over the next days, you will engage in a workshop, forum, and sporting activities that will allow you to learn, network, and fellowship with each other, as well as, explore and experience all that this National Retreat has to offer. We know that you find your work in Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated, the premier African American family organization in the United States, rich and rewarding. You and your family are key to our success and all of us, in the Organization, look forward to your continual contributions. Please know that your contributions do not go unnoticed.

    Dads, we recognize that you and your leadership are truly great assets to Jack and Jill and we can accomplish great things with your support and leadership knowing we are indeed “Stronger Together.” During the conference, I ask you to be engaged, empowered, and energized as you shape the future of the Father’s Auxiliary.

    Greeting Fathers!

    My name is Kevin Jackson and I am your National Fathers Auxiliary Chair. I hail from the Sensational South Central Region and I bring you greetings from The Wonderful Woodlands Chapter of Jack and Jill of America Inc.

    I am so excited to share this wonderful and exciting news as we prepare to embark upon our inaugural National Father's Retreat. This event is the first of its kind.

    Myself along with your six other Fathers Auxiliary Regional Chairs and the National Executive Board of Jack and Jill of America have worked really hard to put together a “Dad Focused” and “Dad Centered” retreat. We hope this well-deserved retreat will allow us to come together, relax, fellowship, connect and re-energize. That is exactly why the theme is “Stronger Together.” When fathers gather with our children in mind, only great things can be accomplished.

    While remembering that theme and focus, we hope all of our fathers will answer the call for this APPOINTED TIME! We promise to have something for everyone. Therefore, please mark your calendars for January 16, 2020 through January 19, 2020. You are cordially invited to three fun, action packed days at the fabulous PGA National Golf Resort and Spa located in the beautiful Palm Beach Gardens in Florida. Our days will be filled with golfing, deep sea fishing, cigar and wine tasting and much, much more!

Our Jack & Jill fathers will be able to bond through being immersed in the city's diversity through the hidden cultural gems and historic sites found in some of the off the beaten path historic neighborhoods and art districts.

    The tour will make stops at Spady Cultural Heritage Museum, Arts Garage and include Caribbean and Soul Food tastings along with other surprises. A professional knowledgeable tour guide will take you on a bus and walking tour through Clematis Street, Historic Sunset Lounge & Jazz Park in Historic Northwest, the Old Northwood District, Breakers Hotel, Hurricane of 1928 Mass Grave site, and much more!

    Leave the driving to us, hop on board and visit three different breweries as you taste your way throughout the day. Also, expect a behind the scenes tour, led by a brewery rep, at one of the stops.

    We'll provide a dedicated driver/ beer guide, our beautiful bus, bottled water, snacks (pretzels, chips, etc.), and koozies along with a full beer or a flight at each brewery for our all-inclusive tours.

    We strongly encourage you to eat ahead of time however, many breweries will have food trucks on site, especially during the weekends, so you should have opportunities to fill up along the way.

    Fishing is sure to provide our Jack & Jill Fathers with an incredible time. You will enjoy some bonding time in your private charter with 5 other fathers, an experienced and knowledgeable Captain and first mate. The crew uses the best fresh bait and equipment so you will most likely have a thrill reeling in snooks, tarpons, barracudas, jacks and maybe even a shark if you’re lucky!

    The Charters include a licensed Captain, a First Mate, fishing licenses, fishing gear, bait, ice, & beer, red & white Wine, snacks, and water. Be sure to bring shoes with non-marking soles, a hat and sunglasses, sunscreen and camera.

    Q | How do I Register?

    Use the online registration form to submit yours and your Spouse's registration needs. Be sure to include any dietary needs and make your selections to the events you and your Spouse will be attending during the weekend.

    Q | My Spouse decided to attend after I submitted my registration. Can they still register?

    Spouses may register separately if he did not register at the same time the member did. Simply use the registration type of "Active Father" in the Registration Type drop-down field and submit a new registration using the online registration form.

    Note: This will create a separate registration from the previously registered member.

    Q | How do I book a room for the Event?

    There is a link on the website Resort & Travel page that will allow you to book directly or you can call in the resort reservations at the PGA National Resort & Spa at 1 (877) 476-1427. You must indicate you are with Jack and Jill of America, Inc. to receive the preferred group rate.

    Resort Reservation cut-off date is December 24, 2019.

    Resort Cancellation Policy:
    Individual cancellations made before 20 days prior to the arrival date will be charged for one night at contracted all-inclusive rate.Individual cancellations made within 19 prior to arrival will be charged for the total days of stay at contracted all-inclusive rate.
